Installation Guide for Foam Vertical Cutter

This installation guide applies to the on-site assembly and commissioning of standard foam vertical cutters. Before starting the installation, please ensure you are familiar with the structure of each component and have the necessary lifting equipment and measuring tools (such as spirit levels and micrometers) ready. The quality of installation directly determines the machine's cutting accuracy and service life. Operators must strictly follow the procedures below:

① First, install the foam vertical cutter frame horizontally and vertically.

② When installing the guide rails, ensure that each rail is vertical and parallel to the others before adjusting for levelness. During assembly, try to keep all working surfaces coplanar as much as possible.

③ When installing the grinding wheels, mount them facing each other with a gap of no more than 10mm.

④ The work platform must move smoothly and evenly, with a flatness deviation of ≤1mm.

⑤ When assembling the bandwheel, ensure the radial parallelism tolerance is within ±1mm.

⑥ When installing the blade, ensure it runs in the center of the bandwheel during both forward and reverse rotation. Adjust the blade tension appropriately. If too tight, it may cause blade breakage; if too loose, it will fail to cut the sponge effectively.

⑦ The blade sharpening motor should be installed at a position one-third along the blade length.

⑧ When installing the safety guards, ensure overall parallelism and neatness.

⑨ This vertical foam cutting machine for PU foam uses a 380V, 50Hz three-phase four-wire power supply, with a total power of approximately 2.5kW. The power source should be obtained from the user's provided three-phase four-wire leakage circuit breaker. The power supply wire gauge should not be less than 6mm².

⑩ The vertical foam cutting machine for PU foam wiring must be carried out by a skilled electrician. Both the machine itself and the electrical cabinet enclosure must be grounded. Use an insulated grounding wire of no less than 2.5mm², and ensure the grounding resistance is no greater than 4 ohms.

⑪ During machine operation, non-skilled electricians should not open the control cabinet door to ensure safety.

⑫ The machine's operating power supply is 380V±10%, 50Hz, three-phase four-wire. The control circuit power supply is 220V±10%. Ensure correct connection, as incorrect wiring may damage the machine.

Foam Vertical Cutter

After all installation and wiring work is completed, a comprehensive Foam Vertical Cutting Machine inspection must be carried out. Verify that all fasteners are secure, all moving parts are well-lubricated, and the blade tension is appropriate before connecting the power supply for no-load test operation. During the test run, closely monitor the blade running track and motor sounds. If any abnormality occurs, stop the PU foam vertical cutting machine immediately for inspection. Operators and maintenance personnel for this machine must be trained and qualified before taking up their posts.
